We surpassed our goal of 1,350 gifts in 24 hours to unlock an additional $65,000 for The Drake Fund, plus nearly $41,000 in matching funds for our colleges, schools, and units!

The Drake Community Went All In!

What an incredible 24 hours! Over $460,000 dollars from 1,350+ donors is going directly to fund Drake scholarships, programs, and resources for incredible students, faculty, and staff, and one incredible University.

 

Your gifts and support make a tremendous difference and it's amazing to see what we can do when we come together as one Drake community and go All In. 

 

All In giving remains open and your support can still make an impact. If you haven't made your All In gift, you still have a chance to go All In today.

During All In, all gifts go further! Alumni Doug Zinser, AS'96, and Dick Sussman, LA'51, have challenged Drake alumni, students, parents, and friends to reach 1,350 donors. If the goal is met within the 24 hours, they will give $65,000 to The Drake Fund.

The Caldbeck Challenge
All gifts made during All In campaign by current Drake students will be matched by The Caldbeck Challenge, up to $1,440! The Diane K. Caldbeck Student Philanthropy Challenge was funded through the generosity of Kelly Caldbeck, PH’01, Peter Caldbeck, JO’03, and Megan Caldbeck, JO’05 in honor of their mother, longtime Drake employee and alumna Diane Anagnos Caldbeck, ED’72. The endowment serves as an annual incentive to students at Drake as they work to inspire their peers to develop a culture of philanthropy.

Bulldog Club (Athletics)
You can make a difference by being All In for Drake Athletics! Jim Dierks and Holly (LA’76) Morrison Dierks and David (BN’73) and Marcia (ED’70, GR’88) Johnson have challenged Drake Athletic supporters to reach 200 donors. If this goal is met within the 24 hours, they will give $10,000 to the Bulldog Club.

2019 Drake Law School All In Challenge
Be all in for Drake Law! In this exciting, tiered challenge, the more donors that give to the Law School Annual Fund, the more funds we can unlock, up to a total of $11,000! At 75 donors we will unlock $1,000 from Ruby Kazi, LW’03. At 100 donors, we will unlock $5,000 from Thomas, BN’70, LW’74 and Barbara, GR’90 Zurek, and at 125 donors we will unlock another $5,000 from an anonymous donor.
