Drake University's All In

During All In, all gifts go further! Alumni Doug Zinser, AS'96, and Dick Sussman, LA'51, have challenged Drake alumni, students, parents, and friends to reach 1,350 donors. If the goal is met within the 24 hours, they will give $65,000 to The Drake Fund.

You can make a difference by being All In for Drake Athletics! Jim Dierks and Holly (LA’76) Morrison Dierks and David (BN’73) and Marcia (ED’70, GR’88) Johnson have challenged Drake Athletic supporters to reach 200 donors. If this goal is met within the 24 hours, they will give $10,000 to the Bulldog Club.

Help ignite passions, enable dreams and transform lives of future business leaders and innovators by making a gift to the College of Business and Public Administration! Mark Hewitt, BN’85 has pledged $3,000 in dollar-for-dollar matching funds for gifts made to the CBPA during All In!

Help train the next generation of excellent, ethical journalists and media professionals. Rob Bennett, JO’75, has contributed a matching gift of $1,750 in memory of his friend Larry Vint, JO’74. All gifts made during All In to the School of Journalism and Mass Communication will be matched dollar-for-dollar.

Make the arts resonate at Drake! Mark Movic, BN’77 and Vice Chair of the Friends of Drake Arts Steering Committee will match all gifts to Friends of Drake Arts, dollar-for-dollar, up to $2,500. Friends of Drake Arts directly supports the departments of Music, Theatre, and Visual Arts, ensuring the best possible fine arts education for Drake Students and exceptional fine arts opportunities for the region.

All gifts made during All In campaign by current Drake students will be matched by The Caldbeck Challenge, up to $1,440! The Diane K. Caldbeck Student Philanthropy Challenge was funded through the generosity of Kelly Caldbeck, PH’01, Peter Caldbeck, JO’03, and Megan Caldbeck, JO’05 in honor of their mother, longtime Drake employee and alumna Diane Anagnos Caldbeck, ED’72. The endowment serves as an annual incentive to students at Drake as they work to inspire their peers to develop a culture of philanthropy.

Be all in for Drake Law! In this exciting, tiered challenge, the more donors that give to the Law School Annual Fund, the more funds we can unlock, up to a total of $11,000! At 75 donors we will unlock $1,000 from Ruby Kazi, LW’03. At 100 donors, we will unlock $5,000 from Thomas, BN’70, LW’74 and Barbara, GR’90 Zurek, and at 125 donors we will unlock another $5,000 from an anonymous donor.

Support the next generation of health care professionals today! Donations made to the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000 through matching funds from Patrick, PH’84 and Annette, FA’85 Verdun and Brian Reisetter, PH’85, GR’87.

During All In, Susan Beckner, LA’78 will match all gifts to the College of Arts and Sciences, dollar-for-dollar, up to $3,000. You’ll be helping the College prepare students to be life-long learners who through the creative use of knowledge, culture, and reflection will meet and surmount the emerging challenges of the 21st century.

John, AS’92 and Jill, JO’91 Farmer, parents of Peyton, class of 2019 and Jane, class of 2022 and Kelly Dopman, parent of Emma Stockman, class of 2022 are joining together to match all gifts from Drake Parents, dollar-for-dollar, up to $2,000 during All In.

Darci Vetter, AS’96 has contributed a $2,000 matching fund for all gifts made to the Harkin Institute during All In! Make a gift today and your gift will be matched dollar for dollar to support the important work of the Harkin Institute, a catalyst for dynamic non-partisan research, learning, and outreach to promote understanding of the policy issues to which Senator Tom Harkin devoted his career.
