Named in honor of beloved Drake alumnus John Dee “Johnny” Bright, The John Dee Bright College offers an alternative pathway to a Drake degree. We promise affordable access to innovative excellence to learners of all kinds who want to do college differently.
All In helps us to secure funding to offset the financial challenges our students sometimes face. Your gift supports the purchase of books and supplies; helps us address food, transportation, and housing insecurity; and provides some of the essentials of everyday life to students who have maximized their access to ordinary financial aid. Combined with leadership-level gifts for scholarships and available state and federal student aid, your contribution to Bright College during All In’s 24 hours of giving provides resources critical to our students’ continued success.
Since we welcomed our first-ever student cohort in fall 2021, our graduates have gone on to achieve their dreams by continuing their studies, completing a Bachelor’s degree, and joining (or re-joining) the professional workforce.
