The Drake College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (CPHS) is dedicated to preparing today’s learners to be tomorrow’s healthcare leaders.  

Students enrolled in the PharmD, OTD, MAT, and Health Sciences programs gain real-world experiences through hands-on experiential learning in a variety of practice settings. 

For example, PharmD students provide point-of-care testing, immunizations, and health screenings in communities across the country; MAT students provide services and educational materials for the Iowa High School Girls Athletic Union; and OTD students provide care giver training to various local non-profit organizations.  

Through their work in our learner-centered, innovative classrooms and labs, along with the real-world experiences the College offers, students learn the values of collaboration, professionalism, and entrepreneurial leadership.  

Healthcare professionals have the opportunity to make a meaningful, lasting impact on people’s lives.
