Cowles Library

As the largest private academic library in Iowa, Cowles Library is a resource for students on their paths to become their most well-rounded selves. Cowles Library integrates the past into the present with an eye on the future and prepares students to navigate the digital world both before and after graduation. Students and community members can find a team of librarians, trained in education and ready to guide them through the identification and analysis of Drake’s vast resources.

Cowles Library houses Drake’s print and digital collections and an impressive array of archives and special collections that ensure students and the public can learn from the rich history of Des Moines, Iowa, and the nation.

Your support will ensure continued access to this valuable learning environment and its many academic resources.
