The Drake College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (CPHS) is dedicated to the mission of preparing today’s learners to be tomorrow’s healthcare leaders.
Students in all of the CPHS programs have the opportunity to witness the health care profession up close through hands-on experiential learning throughout the world. Locally, the College recently partnered with Hy-Vee and the Polk County Health Department to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to eligible community members. Alongside Drake faculty and mentors, student pharmacists have vaccinated thousands of people. Through their work in our learner-centered, innovative classrooms and labs, along with the real world experiences the College offers, students learn the values of collaboration, professionalism, and entrepreneurial leadership.
