From funding student research on topics such as the BP oil spill and Latina meat processing workers in Iowa, to sending students to conferences centered around race and ethnicity and global peace, the Slay Fund for Social Justice at Drake University enables both students and staff to actively engage with social justice issues. The Slay Fund provides large and small grants to Drake students, staff, and faculty engaged in social justice work. The fund has also brought speakers such as Jimmy Carter and Allison Bechdel to campus, stimulating conversations about social justice to everyone who attends.
At Drake, we are committed to ensuring all students are responsible global citizens. Your donations during All-In go toward ensuring this mission by allowing the Slay Fund to support social justice and progress for many years.
